Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval begins February 1, 2025. The Mardi Gras food menus finally appeared. What do we get to enjoy this year?

The Mardi Gras celebration at Universal Orlando Resort has grown from a small event to a full-size food festival with parades and concerts. Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval runs daily through Sunday, March 30, inviting guests to celebrate 30 years of beads, parades, music, and food. The Mardi Gras concerts happen on select weekend evenings.

Mardi Gras at Universal Orlando Resort involves many flavors of global cuisine, from New Orleans to Puerto Rico and beyond. Guests can venture through Universal Studios Florida and dine on sweet, savory, and spicy dishes, including Hot Maple–Lacquered Salmon from Canada, Spicy Szechuan Chicken Bites from China, and a Colombian Burger.

In addition, guests should expect a massive number of food offerings at Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval. Of course, Mardi Gras visitors should expect beignets, gumbo, and jambalaya. The food and beverage locations will be found throughout Universal Studios Florida theme park. In addition, Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen at Universal CityWalk Orlando will sell a Bayou Pecan Shake.

Universal Orlando Resort Food and Beverage Card

The best way to enjoy this year’s delicious menu is with the purchase of the Universal Orlando Resort Food and Beverage Card, where guests pay $65 for a $75 card. Annual and Seasonal Passholders also receive special savings by purchasing an exclusive $150 card for only $120. These gift cards do not expire. They can be used at almost all food and beverage locations in the theme parks and CityWalk. They cannot be used at the resort hotels.

Universal Orlando 2025 Mardi Gras Food Offerings

Universal Orlando Resort released the food menus for this year’s event on Thursday, January 30, 2025. Traditionally, the food and beverage booths, mostly themed to countries, open at 11:00 a.m. daily. All these Mardi Gras food and beverage locations are found within Universal Studios Florida theme park.
