RealFX Disney Stitch Puppetronic won this year’s “Toy of the Year” award. This happened at the 25th Anniversary Toy of the Year® (TOTY®) Awards
The most creative and innovative toys and games earned top honors at the 25th Anniversary Toy of the Year® (TOTY®) Awards, where nearly 800 toy, play, and youth professionals gathered to celebrate excellence in play, as well as the induction of industry icons into the Toy Industry Hall of Fame. Proceeds from the awards program and event supports The Toy Foundation™ (TTF), the philanthropic arm of The Toy Association™, which delivers play to millions of children when they need it most.
RealFX Disney Stitch Puppetronic
The RealFX Disney Stitch Puppetronic (WOW Stuff!), a cuddly animatronic puppet based on the popular alien character, earned the prestigious “Toy of the Year” award. It also took home the “Tech Toy of the Year” award. This toy offers users 100+ sounds and action combinations such as blinking and squinting eyes, moving mouth, turning head, floppy ears and even nose, head and tongue touch sensors.
Kids and adults can combine these in any order with Stitch’s unique vocal sounds and language to create over 100 realistic Stitch interactions. The Stitch Puppetronic comes with an ‘alien capsule’ inspired window display case. At nearly a foot and a half tall, Stitch is very much as you would imagine him in real life, according to Wow Stuff!
