Salt & Straw Disney Springs combines sugar cereal to make five unique ice cream versions for this month’s limited-time series, The Cereal-sly Delicious Series.
Are you old enough to remember waking up on Saturday mornings to watch cartoons? For those of you too young to remember only having a few television channels, Saturday morning cartoons were the way most kids watched those programs.
Those Saturday morning cartoons were often combined with kids’ cereal, ranging from heavily coated in sugar to being almost entirely sugar. People should think about cereals like Frosted Flakes, Lucky Charms, and Captain Crunch. Even if your parents only allowed you lightly sugared or no sugar cereal, the Saturday morning cartoons made a great chance to enjoy a heaping bowl of cereal for breakfast in front of the television.
Salt & Straw created a limited-time ice cream series for the month of March (well, it started on February 28) to evoke nostalgia for kids’ cereal lovers. The limited-time series is called The Cereal-sly Delicious Series. Salt & Straw said guests could “Join us as we steep, smash, and whizz through sweetened worlds of technicolor, heading back to those carefree hours—but not before reimagining them with our own Salt & Straw twist.”

These five new flavors replaced The Chocolatiers Series. The five new limited-time flavors include:
- Pots of Gold and Rainbows – Hand-sorted rainbow marshmallows are playfully tossed into a cereal-steeped ice cream.
- Snap N’ Crackle Marshmallow Treats – Rice Krispie marshmallow Florentines are crushed and scattered throughout salted vanilla ice cream.
- Peanut Butter Brownie Cereal Puffs – Double-baked, peanut butter-glazed brownies tossed into peanut butter-marbled milk chocolate ice cream
- Cornflake Cookies with Marionberry Jam – Brown butter cornflake cookies are folded into a malty, cereal-steeped ice cream and finished with swirls of marionberry jam.
- Captain’s Berried Treasure – Cereal-steeped coconut and oat milk swimming with fruity housemade “crunch berries” (Vegan)
This sounds like a breakfast cereal fan’s dream for the month of March at Salt & Straw Disney Springs. We expect these flavors to last until March 27, 2025.
