This event is a way to bring our community together and rally to raise money for a great cause. Part social gathering, part team trivia, part ride challenge, Main Street 16 is a combination of all the things we love about the Disney Parks—The rides, the details, and most importantly, the people. And this event is about giving back to extraordinary people.
BENEFITING
The Dream Team Project, founded by Lou Mongello, is a heartfelt initiative dedicated to bringing joy to seriously ill children and their families by making their dream of visiting Walt Disney World come true. Through the collective efforts of volunteers, community members, and the WDW Radio Running Team, the project raises funds in collaboration with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Since its inception in 2003, the Dream Team Project has successfully raised over $550,000, directly funding wish trips for children facing life-threatening medical conditions. These trips offer a much-needed respite, allowing families to create lasting memories in one of the happiest places on Earth, away from the challenges of medical treatments and hospital stays. Lou Mongello’s personal commitment, fueled by profound personal experiences with cancer within his own family, drives the project’s mission to make an immediate, positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Get your team ready for the 4th Annual Main Street 16 Challenge! Register for teams of up to 4 for the Challenge Day on May 17, 2025.
Team Registration is for the Challenge Day only, taking place on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Registration covers up to four participants per team and helps offset the cost of team shirts, awards, and additional event materials. Join us for this special day of fun, friendship, and giving back!

- MS16 Social Kickoff: Lakeside Bar and Grill at Drury (6pm – 9pm)
Friday, May 16
- Main Street Madness: A high-energy race through Disney Springs, blending the thrill of an Amazing Race-style competition with the excitement of a scavenger hunt
Saturday, May 17
- 16 Ride Challenge: 1 day, 4 parks, 4 rides in each! (2024 RIDE CHALLENGE RULES)
Sunday, May 18
- Main Street 16 Challenge Awards: Invite Only
