Halloween Horror Nights speculation begins! HHN Speculation Map 1.0 hints at houses like “Scream” and “Terrifier.” Check out the latest HHN rumors! Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) speculation season can genuinely start now with the Horror Night Nightmares Speculation Map version one.

The rumor season for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida started months ago. Still, the HHN speculation season does not really start until Horror Night Nightmares puts out a speculation map. For context, these speculation maps are based on rumors. Nothing posted by that site is official from Universal Orlando Resort. Nevertheless, this site consistently shows amazing insight into the spooky event.
During Christmas, Horror Night Nightmares released a pre-season speculation map to start the speculation season. Common theories about this pre-speculation map involved “M3GAN 2.0.” “Terrifier,” and even “Beetlejuice.”
Since then, Halloween Horror Nights rumors about houses have grown. We recently published an article about the things floating around that caught our attention. So far, The HHN rumors have ranged from “Terrifier,” “Scream,” and even “Friday the 13th.”
Halloween Horror Nights Speculation Tease
Halloween Horror Nights fans even received a countdown warning message from Horror Nights Nightmares. Of course, there were questions about whether this was for 60 minutes or 60 seconds.
Horror Night Nightmares began teasing HHN fans via social media on March 29, announcing that a speculation map would be released soon.
Halloween Horror Nights Speculation Map 1.0

Even though it was more than 60 minutes later, Halloween Horror Nights fans got their first official speculation map from Horror Night Nightmares. After that, the speculation from fans increased exponentially. We are not good at determining what each symbol could or could not mean from this speculation map. Also, we will only look at the speculation map for the Orlando version. Horror Night Nightmares also releases a Universal Studios Hollywood version. At first glance, we noticed a few things that might be clues from Horror Nightmares. These include:
- The camera symbol at the Fast & Furious house location implies a “Five Nights at Freddy’s” house. This spot has been a common Blumhouse intellectual property location before.
- The thumbs-up symbol for Soundstage 22 looks like “Fallout.” It adds up when you compare it to the speculation map for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood.
- Also, looking at the Hollywood map for comparison, the Orlando HHN looks to have five Intellectual property houses based on this informed specuiation
- “Scream” looks to be the intellectual property hinted at appearing in Soundstage 12. That symbol is a spyglass looking at a ghost. “Scream” features Ghostface, and the Spyglass is the company that produced the newer “Scream” films. Rumors about this elusive intellectual property involve the fourth and fifth films.
- The trash bags in the symbol for Tent 4 look to be a reference to Art the Clown from “Terrifier.”
- This speculation map indicates a show in the Lagoon area of Universal Studios Florida. It sounds like a Lagoon show is returning from Halloween Horror Nights after being absent last year.
WWE Halloween Horror Nights House?
Based on rumors up to this point in the HHN speculation season, a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) house featuring The Wyatt Sicks still looks possible. Also, the early rumor of eleven or twelve houses looks far less likely based on this speculation map. The expected five “original” houses could be almost anything based on symbols and rumors.
Other Rumors
The only rumors about the original houses that sound plausible so far are a Norse-themed house and a “Scary Tales” style house. Halloween Horror Nights fans must wait for official announcements to confirm any theories. Once again, this is a speculation map, not a confirmed house list for Halloween Horror Nights 2025.
