As sometimes happens with theme park attractions and their opening dates, Expedition Odyssey at SeaWorld Orlando will not open to the public until May 9, 2025. Originally it was scheduled to open to everyone on May 1.
According to the SeaWorld Orlando website, the ride’s opening will undergo some changes. SeaWorld states, “Due to unprecedented demand, we’ve listened to our Pass Members and are giving you more time to be the First to Explore the Arctic with us!”
Expedition Odyssey Previews and Grand Opening
Ride previews will now begin on Thursday, May 1. Please match the date and time with your corresponding pass tier. We’re excited to finally unveil Expedition Odyssey and share this unique experience with you!
Preview times are one hour after park open until park close
- 5/1 Thursday- Pass Member Previews: Platinum
- 5/2 Friday- Pass Member Previews: Platinum
- 5/3 Saturday- Pass Member Previews: Platinum and Gold
- 5/4 Sunday- Pass Member Previews: Platinum and Gold
- 5/5 Monday- Pass Member Previews: Platinum, Gold and Silver
- 5/6 Tuesday- Pass Member Previews: Platinum, Gold and Silver
- 5/7 Wednesday- Pass Member Previews: ALL Passes
- 5/8 Thursday- Pass Member Previews ALL Passes
- 5/9 Friday- General Public Grand Opening.”
SeaWorld Orlando guests must wait a little longer for a ride on the new indoor flying theatre attraction. The attraction still promises to offer new thrills and excitement for the entire family with a height requirement of only 39 inches.
