From Moroccan calamari to a classic American dessert, the latest Epcot dining update brings two new flavors for guests to enjoy.

Epcot Dining Update

Walt Disney World unveiled two new Epcot dining updates at table service restaurant options. When many Walt Disney World fans think of Epcot, they think of food and beverages. Epcot offers many table service restaurants. This week, they received two Epcot dining updates. We have the debut of a new calamari and a new strawberry shortcake. Fortunately, those are not combined into one dish.

Epcot at Walt Disney World is a culinary theme park paradise, offering a wide range of table service restaurants that take guests on a flavorful journey around the world. Epcot boasts an impressive lineup of international dining experiences.

At Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada Pavilion, diners savor premium steaks and rich cheddar soup in a cozy cellar setting. The France Pavilion’s Chefs de France offers elegant French cuisine, while Spice Road Table in Morocco serves Mediterranean small plates with waterfront views. Italy’s Via Napoli is a favorite for wood-fired pizzas and hearty pasta dishes. The Japan Pavilion’s Teppan Edo delivers an interactive hibachi-style experience.

Table service restaurants at Epcot can become more than just meals. In some cases, they offer immersive cultural experiences. Many feature cast members from their respective countries, as well as authentic decor and traditional flavors that transport guests around the globe. Advanced dining reservations are highly recommended, as these popular spots can fill quickly.

Recently, Walt Disney World announced two menu updates at Spice Road Table and the Garden Grill Restaurant. Though these are small changes, some guests will find them to be an upgrade.

The Garden Grill Restaurant at Epcot offers views of the Living with the Land attraction. Also, guests know it for being a character meal where they can meet Chip, Dale, Mickey, and Pluto. This family-style meal ends with a dessert for the lunch and dinner menus. That dessert has changed at the Garden Grill Restaurant.

Today, Walt Disney World announced that an all-new Strawberry Shortcake would be the sweet treat finale to a lunch or dinner meal at Garden Grill. At this point, we know very little about this dessert. However, since the seasonal pie changed previously at Gardn Grill, this should not shock too many guests dining there this weekend.
