Celebrate Dry January with Zero-Proof Refreshers at Hard Rock Cafe Orlando
Hard Rock Cafe at Universal CityWalk Orlando designed some zero-proof refreshers for Dry January to enable guests to celebrate responsibly.
The world’s largest Hard Rock Cafe resides at Universal Orlando Resort. Though this dining option has moved from its original location at Universal Orlando, it still takes a prominent role as guests enter the central portion of the theme park resort. The exterior is shaped like the Roman Coliseum, and the two-story dining room is a massive museum of memorabilia from rock art. Also, the circular center bar inside the Hard Rock Cafe Orlando features a full-size pink 1959 Cadillac spinning overhead.
Dry January at Hard Rock Cafe Orlando
For Dry January, Hard Rock Cafe at Universal CityWalk Orlando has created three zero-proof cocktails, or refreshers, as they prefer to call them. As Hard Rock Cafe stated in promotional material,” Health is wealth in 2025 and what better way to get on track early than with our zero-proof refreshers. Throughout the month of January sip on one of our delicious mocktails made up of Cucumber Mint Press, Strawberry Basil Lemonade and our Chili Lime Pineapple.”
Each zero-proof refresher costs $7.50 or $12.99 with a collectible glass. The description for each beverage looks like this:
- Cucumber Mint Press – Fresh Lime Juice, Agave Nectar, Fresh Cucumber, Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic, and Fresh Mint
- Strawberry Basil Lemonade – House-made Lemonade, Fresh Strawberries, and Fresh Basil
- Chili Lime Pineapple – Pineapple Juice, Fresh Lime Juice, Fresh Jalapeño, and Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic
These zero-proof refreshers look like a middle ground between a true zero-proof crafted cocktail and an enhanced fountain drink. Though one might prefer to see something closer to a proper zero-proof cocktail from a place that sells so many beverages at its bar, these at least provide options for guests embracing Dry January.
For guests visiting the Orlando area without a Universal Orlando annual pass or staying on Universal Orlando property, you must pay to park at CityWalk to dine here. However, parking at Universal Orlando CityWalk is free after 6:00 p.m. Guests can also make advance dining reservations via OpenTable.
