Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ Disney Springs has added six new weekend brunch menu items for guests starting this weekend.

The weekend brunch at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ Disney Springs draws a crowd. Of course, Homecomin’ ranks as one of the more challenging Walt Disney World table service restaurants to acquire an advance dining reservation, based on data from MouseDining.

Homecomin’ Disney Springs

It serves classic southern United States comfort food for those unfamiliar with this restaurant. When visualizing this restaurant, guests should think of fried chicken, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and Hummingbird Cake.

On weekends at Homecomin’ Disney Springs until 1:00 p.m., it serves a brunch menu. This brunch menu is not for the faint of heart. Large portions and plenty of flavor will comfort you. Still, those on a strict low-calorie diet have been warned.

New Brunch Menu Items at Homecomin’ Disney Springs

Recently, Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ announced six new brunch menu items for guests to enjoy. Those new items include:

Blueberry Buckle ($18.00)

This consists of a house-made blueberry coffee cake topped with

vanilla glaze and garnished with fresh berries and mint. We sampled this new brunch item, and it is worth the hype.

Homecomin’ Hash ($24.00)

Guests receive two sunny-side-up eggs over fire-roasted tomatoes, diced potatoes, chopped bacon, sauteed red peppers, and onions. This also features some potato gratin mash and a cheddar

drop biscuit. This reminds us of the former menu item at Homecomin’, Southern Poutine.

Vegan Hash ($24.00)

This consists of a scrambled “Just Egg” plant-based egg substitute over fire-roasted tomatoes, diced potatoes, red and green peppers, onion, and zucchini. This also comes with fresh fruit and multigrain toast.

Steak & Egg Plate ($24.00)

This brunch menu item stands out as Southern comfort food at its best. Guests receive a brunch-sized portion of country-fried steak,

smothered in sawmill gravy and topped with two over-easy eggs. It is served with a side of Southern-style cheesy potatoes and a biscuit. This should be delicious based on the main menu version of country-fried steak.

Apple Butter Bread Pudding ($14.00)

The menu description reads, “A decadent, house-made apple butter bread pudding sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and drizzled with crème anglaise.” If breakfast dessert is a thing, this qualifies.

Southern Style Cheesy Potatoes ($10.00)

This new side promises brunch decadence for those wanting just a touch of comfort food goodness.

Each of these options is available starting this weekend. While many foodies are enjoying the Seven Seas Food Festival at SeaWorld Orlando or Mardi Gras at Universal Orlando Resort this weekend, these new brunch menu items sound good enough to eat this weekend and many more to come. As always, eat like you mean it.
