Pass Member Landing opened at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, and in honor of this, a pass member appreciation weekend was held. Guests also got to meet the new theme park president, Jeff Davis.

Pass Member Landing

In recent years, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has been without a pass member lounge. The other United Parks & Resort theme park in Florida, SeaWorld Orlando, has offered one for some time.

New Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Park President, Jeff Davis

Jeff Davis

Davis joins Busch Gardens Tampa Bay from SeaWorld San Antonio, where he served as park president. He has 30 years of experience and brings knowledge, strategic vision, and passion to his new role. As a teenager, he started in the theme park business at Sesame Street Philadelphia.

We’re excited to have Jeff in the leadership role as one of our most seasoned executives. I’m confident he will help guide the team to success as we continue to make investments to further solidify the park’s status as a premier destination for thrill-seekers and families alike,” said Kyle Miller, chief parks operations officer at United Parks & Resorts, parent company to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

“I’m thrilled for the opportunity to lead the team at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay as we make significant investments in the park to improve the infrastructure, operations and overall park experience for our guests,” said Davis. “There are a lot of exciting things happening at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay right now – and even more to come soon,” said Davis.

“We have a Wild Oasis opening this Spring – a vibrant, rainforest-inspired realm with amazing animal habitats, thrilling attractions and interactive play areas that will entertain, educate and inspire our guests to cherish the wonders of the natural world. Plus, the 2025 calendar is packed with the ultimate lineup of world-class festivities and entertainment, featuring heart-pounding attractions, up-close encounters with animals, live shows and immersive experiences.”

Pass Member Appreciation Weekend

For pass member appreciation weekend, Davis spoke at the Coke Canopy. Davis spoke about how wonderful it was to be at Busch Gardens. He loves the theme park community. In addition, he talked about the attractions that are currently down at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. He said nobody wanted the rides running more than the “new guy.” After explicitly mentioning the train, which is running a shorter loop due to retaining wall damage from the hurricane, he said that he anticipated the rides, like ShieKra, that will be back running in March around spring break.

Pass members were invited to visit Pass Member Landing to meet some animal ambassadors, receive a gift, and more surprises. The new Pass Member Landing opened this weekend. When we visited the new lounge, the new theme park president met with guests and gave out pins. This new pass member lounge offers guests a place to refill their water bottles, relax, and recharge their phones. Pass Member Landing is located near Springs Taproom. This will make a nice perk that Busch Gardens Tampa Bay pass members have missed.
