On March 25, 2025, Universal’s Terra Luna Resort opened to guests. This becomes Universal Orlando’s tenth hotel. Universal Orlando Resort’s newest hotel sits adjacent to the all-new Universal Epic Universe theme park, grand opening May 22, 2025. On the opening day, we visited the lobby and quick service dining at Universal’s Terra Luna Resort.

Universal’s Terra Luna Resort had Troll and Men in Black characters out to greet guests for opening day. Additional photo opportunities were placed in the lobby

Universal Orlando Resort invites guests to step onto a new planet yet to be discovered with Universal’s Terra Luna Resort. This hotel has been brought to life by the Universal Creative team and co-owned and operated by Loews Hotels & Co. The hotel joins Universal Orlando’s current collection of hotels and offers 750 additional guest rooms, terrestrial-inspired dining options, and exceptional amenities.

Universal Orlando stated that this Prime Value hotel invites guests to touchdown on an otherworldly landscape within a solar system of vacation fun. Terra Luna Resort’s guest rooms sleep four guests in two queen beds and feature space station-styled windows.  This should be an exciting escape for guests looking to rest between their adventures at the theme parks.

Dining at Terra Luna Resort

Terra Luna Resort offers a variety of convenient dining options, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Omega Cafe and Market. We dined at Omega Café and Market. We found that this quick service dining restaurant offers above-average-sized portions. Many entrees could be shared. We also enjoyed that sweet potato fries and side salads were standard sides with most entrees. In addition, our entrees tasted above average for quick service dining.
