Epcot Festival of the Arts: Top Dishes That Have Us Excited

Festival of the Arts

We are excited to try several food options this year at the 2025 Epcot International Festival of the Arts. Some are new, but some are returning favorites at this festival.

Recently, Walt Disney World announced the food and beverage lineup for the Epcot International Festival of the Arts, which runs from January 17 to February 24, 2025. Since we will have started our 2025 food festival season at Busch Gardens Mardi Gras by then, our taste buds will be prepared for the Epcot food festival. However, the Epcot food festival always involves some surprises. Despite that, we have several food items we are anxious to try. So, what food are we looking forward to?

Top Dishes That Have Us Excited at Epcot International Festival of the Arts

Festval of the Arts

The Epcot International Festival of the Arts food and beverage booths offer a wide variety of options to sample. Still, after seeing the list of festival menu items for this year, we found a few to be excited about trying.

Deconstructed Key Lime Pie

The Deconstructed Dish location returns this year for the Festival of the Arts. This food and beverage location resides near Refreshment Station close to Test Track. One of our favorite items from previous festivals was the Deconstructed Key Lime Pie. This unique-looking dessert offers a reasonable facsimile of a key lime pie. The menu description reads, “Flexible Key lime curd, “Key lime” mousse, graham cracker cake, and meringues.” If you want a light, refreshing, sweet treat, this might be for you.

Also of note, Jeremy and Rhonda Stein find the Deconstructed BLT at this food and beverage location to be a quality item as well. That consists of “Pork belly, soft-poached egg, onion bread pudding, watercress espuma, and tomato jam.” Guests can have a full deconstructed meal at this festival booth. However, we miss the former menu item, Deconstructed French Onion Soup.

Beef Wellington-inspired Croissant Supreme

Festival of the Arts

Not far away from the Deconstructed Dish, guests can find another of our anticipated food items for this year. This year, a new item will be available at the Craftsman’s Courtyard food and beverage location. Based on the Disney photo alone, we look forward to trying the Beef Wellington-inspired Croissant Supreme. This includes a creamed spinach croissant pinwheel, mushroom-gorgonzola ragout, mustard-grilled flank steak, red wine sauce, and pickled mustard seeds.

Open-faced Chicken Pot Pie at Festival of the Arts? Really?

Festival of the Arts

The Artist’s Table location in the American Adventure area of Epcot’s World Showcase decided to elevate the art theme of this festival food location with a new item for 2025. Though we are concerned about eating an open-faced pot pie, this location will sell a Chicken “Pot Pie” that looks more like a pizza. The menu description reads that this comes “with smoked cheddar mornay sauce, roasted vegetables, pickled mushrooms, wasabi peas, and sherry-chicken jus served open-faced on flaky pie crust.” That does not sound like any pot pie we have enjoyed before, but we expect this to provide good flavor based on the history of food items in the American Adventure area of the World Showcase for festivals.

Chorizo and Potato Empanada

Chorizo and Potato Empanada Epcot

Guests can find this empanada at the Vibrante & Vívido: Encanto Cocina food and beverage location. This is placed between Morrocco and France in Epcot’s World Showcase.

In previous years, we enjoyed Chorizo and Potato Empanada.  However, we tend to try each festival’s food item more than once. On one occasion last year, we did not enjoy this menu item as much. Based on that, we suggest having this empanada earlier in the day. The menu description indicates that this empanada uses turmeric and annatto aioli for enhancement.

Despite our concerns, we find ourselves looking forward to this empanada for the 2025 festival event. Rumor has it that Jeremy Stein might have five or more of these empanadas during the festival this year.
